Com treballem?
Fisioteràpia contemporània: ciència, raonament i humanitat
Our approach
Physiotherapy has evolved. It is no longer sufficient to base practice on outdated paradigms. My methodology is founded on a solid clinical identity, anchored in both scientific evidence and a humanistic approach.
The 4 pillars of the method
Therapeutic alliance: Before touching, one must listen. Soft skills such as empathy and active listening are essential to contextualize the intervention within the patient’s values and beliefs.
Understanding pain: If we do not validate the patient’s experience and understand the process, there is no way to move forward.
Clinical reasoning: It is the central axis. It allows us to formulate hypotheses, interpret signs, and constantly adapt the intervention, avoiding one-size-fits-all treatments.
Functionality (ICF): The goal is not just to repair a tissue, but to restore the patient’s participation in their environment and overall functionality.
Therapeutic honesty:
Passive: Manual therapy is a tool of limited and justified use.
Active: Exercise is the indisputable pillar, from basic patterns to the complexity and chaos of real movement. However, it will not be the best therapy for a patient if it is not agreed upon with them.
